After the tragic deaths of Mitchell, Nina and now George, Annie allows Tom to move into ‘Honolulu Heights’ – on the proviso he follow all her house rules. They soon find themselves welcoming more new arrivals, in the form of another supernatural trio of housemates from Southend-on-Sea: Leo, an elderly hairdresser cursed with lycanthropy; Pearl, an opinionated ghost from the 1950s; and Hal, a vampire struggling to stay off blood by sticking to a strict regime of self-control. Leo is dying, and he has been sent by the voice of an angel to find a child messiah who can apparently save him: George and Nina’s baby, Eve...
